Able Kicks Celebrates Jamie Dalby’s Sussex FA Disability Coach of the Year Award
We are incredibly proud to share some fantastic news from the Able Kicks family — our Founder and Lead Coach, Jamie Dalby has been named Disability Coach of the Year 2025 by Sussex FA.
This prestigious award recognises Jamie’s outstanding commitment to inclusive football and his tireless work supporting children, young people and adults with SEND across West Sussex. Through Able Kicks, Jamie has helped create welcoming, structured environments where participants can build confidence, develop social skills and enjoy the game at their own pace. His coaching approach is rooted in understanding, patience and belief in every individual — values that sit at the very heart of everything Able Kicks stands for.
A Special Thank-You at Wembley Stadium
As part of the award celebrations, Jamie was given a once-in-a-lifetime thank-you experience: the opportunity to play football at the iconic Wembley Stadium, alongside fellow volunteers from across the country who have made an exceptional impact in grassroots football. Stepping onto such a legendary pitch was a fitting way to honour the dedication of coaches who quietly transform lives in communities every day.
From Everyone at Able Kicks — Thank You, Jamie 💙⚽
We could not be prouder of Jamie and this incredible achievement. His passion for inclusion, commitment to families, and drive to ensure football is accessible for all continues to inspire players, parents and partners alike.
Congratulations, Jamie — and thank you for everything you do for our community.
